I am sorry I threw my phone at your head during the non-trad trip. There's not a really good reason for me doing it and I have regretted it ever since. I don't normally blow up like that but something just set me off. I have a few ideas of why I did that. I was put in charge of getting us a car at Sea-Tac airport and I failed in doing that simple thing. It's one thing to get yourself into a tight spot but another thing to drag someone along with you. The car falling threw hit me hard because I considered myself the more accomplished traveler at the time even though I was younger than you. I was also in a lot of pain physically at the moment.

Block out the noise. Bring in the silence. Block out the darkness. Bring in the light. Block out the hate. Bring in the love. Block out the pain. Bring in the healing.

It's called comfort food for a reason. The comfort comes when the box of cookies is broken open and the heady smell of fresh baked cookies reaches the nose. The food is there to wrap you up tight in its gooey cheesy embrace. The food will say everything will be better with slippery grease socked crumbs that fall down on a shirt. The smooth feel of creamy brown peanut butter in the mouth make the pain of regrets or shame that much duller. White and black Oreos call from the cookie jar to distract the brain from painful ideas and events. But what the food doesn't tell the mouth or the brain is the price that will have to be paid letter.
